Employability Skills Training with Platinum Lounge


Leslie Vasquez and David Spalding from Platinum Lounge were guests during our Employability Skills Training workshop series. Their presentation on The Big Wide World of Beauty: Are you ready for it? was a true success with our students. Topics covered were:

Celebrating Our Graduates!

Our Cosmetology Program at Shoreline School of Cosmetology prepares student for competitive positions in the cosmetology industry. The curriculum is covered five days a week for a 10 month period to meet the State of California cosmetology license exam requirements. Classes are conducted by a board licensed cosmetology instructor. Students learn important basics during thier freshmen class with a text book, work book, and hands on practice.


Graduates are to complete all curriculum assignments, earn a passing grade on required exams, and maintain an overall attendance of 90% or better. The students's goal is to complete 1600 clock hours of Cosmetology training and pass the California State BoardExam to obtain licensure. Successful graduates will be awarded a Certificate of Completion and will be eligible for placement assistance.






Lead instuctor Bev Nigro and Regional Occupation Program (ROP) Director Bryan Wall and Assistant Director Mark Hodges present the certificates of completion to graduates.
